DOT Compliance & Safety: common questions

When is my MCS-150 biennial update due?

Every USDOT number holder must update the MCS-150 every two years. The month is set by the last digit of your USDOT number (1 = January ... 0 = October) and the year by the second-to-last digit (odd digit = odd years, even digit = even years). Missing it can lead to USDOT deactivation and civil penalties.

What does a DOT compliance service help with?

Typically driver qualification files, drug and alcohol program setup, hours-of-service and ELD audits, vehicle maintenance records, MCS-150 updates and preparing for new entrant safety audits or compliance reviews.
